Drogheda On the strand, 1 mile N. of Nannywater, through stress of weather, and neglecting to haul up the trawl in time. There were no means in the neighbourhood for saving life. If a rocket or mortar had been on the spot, it is likely the men would have been saved. Four of the crew drowned. J. Thornton,Mr. Owner Jane Comerford, Sherries.
