Cape Clear Sank off. Capt. Fletcher of the John and Isabella of South Shields reports that on the 20th instant at about 4 p.m. in lat.51 N. long.11 W. he perceived signals of distress flying on board the brig Sarah upon which he bore down upon her, and Capt. Richardson requested him to lay by the Sarah until morning, as he feared she would go down.
